Summer Fly-in

13/14th August 2011

XK & E-Type Club day - 11th September

Thanks again to all those who visited our events this year, whether by road or air.

Donations this year raised a total of £430 for the County Air Ambulance Trust. We were also privileged to offer the crew of Helimed 03, G-WMAS, the use of the field in early July for training purposes.

Our August fly-in got off to a slow start on Saturday, but Sunday proved to be much more popular, with 16 visiting aircraft in all. Of particular note was an Irish-based, Czech-registered, Samba microlight, visiting from North Weald. Also new to us was Rotorway Exec, G-RAWS, flown in by Roly Robinson.

Our September beekeeping event for area members of the XK & E-type clubs proved very popular with a great turnout of cars on a very blustery, showery day.

A big thank you to all of our friends & family, who helped Pat & I running the events, and to Ruth & Graham Whitehouse (G&R Classics of Malvern), for co-ordinating the cars.
